Chandler LaFrain, Randy Wallace and Ray Hawk will assist Neal. We still need more shooters who are willing to serve as Match Director/Safety Officer for the shoots. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please contact Randy. Click HERE for Randy's contact information. Shoots are held year round on
the 2nd Sunday and 4th Saturday of each month. The IDPA was organized in order to
provide those persons interested in carrying a firearm for self-defense with
a platform to practice the skills that are necessary in the average
defensive encounter. It is different from most of the other pistol
associations in that it limits the participants' gear to that which is
common to daily carry. The point of IDPA is not to win or beat someone
else, the point is to instill the traits that will help you to successfully
overcome your adversaries in an armed encounter. Cost to shoot is FREE the first time, and then $5 if you are a TSF member, and $10 if your not a TSF member. Spectators are always free. Come on out and join us! Shoot with us, or just watch. Spectators are welcome. But if you come just to watch, make sure you bring ear protection. If you have questions, contact me. For a copy of the rules and regulations governing defensive pistol matches visit the IDPA website. For more information on the Tennessee Sports Foundation click here.
